About Ashley

Ashley is a 500 hour RYT. She first received her 200 hour certification from South Boston Yoga, then completed the next 300 hours in Rishikesh, India at Rishikesh Yogkulam. She is a Vinyasa focused teacher living north of Boston, MA. Yoga came into her life during her college years and quickly became her daily outlet for unwinding and sorting things out. It became a safe space for her to feel and let go. The yoga asana or postures are what initially hooked Ashley, but once she fully immersed herself into the practice, the change in perspective and self inquiry is what further drew her in. Her practice has been constantly evolving and though she is now a teacher, she still considers herself a student with endless knowledge to gain.

She loves combining her love for yoga and nature by teaching yoga outdoors with baby goats. She has taught classes in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and locally near Boston. Her classes are vinyasa based and designed for all ages and skill levels. She strongly believes that yoga is for everyone, and encourages everybody to listen to their body and move in any way that they choose. Ashley provides precise cuing to give her students multiple variations for each pose, and accommodates everyone in order to allow them to make it what they want it to be.

Ashleys passions off of her mat include spending time in the sunshine, growing, reading, learning, playing, exploring, and traveling. She loves spending her time with animals and outside in nature. Her mission is to guide others toward abundant health and happiness, just as yoga has been guiding her, and to provide her students with the tools that they need to become their best selves.
